On Tuesday evening July 8th between 6PM and midnight, Cumberland County Public Safety Communications handled the following incidents: 104 EMS Incidents 144 Fire/Rescue Incidents 271 Law Enforcement Incidents 15 Other Agency Incidents 16 Fulton County Fire/Rescue Incidents These 550 incidents were handled at the height of the storm by 15 public safety dispatchers (the entire daylight and evening shifts) with support from several DPS office staff members. Thank you to the many volunteers who manned fire/rescue stations to receive calls via telephone to keep the fire radio clear for priority traffic. This was a great team effort by the DPS staff and field providers to keep the residents of Cumberland County safe. Thank you!
