On Wednesday, November 26, 2014, the North Adams Dispatch Center fielded 170 calls for service. With the arrival of winters first significant snow accumulation, it also brought numerous weather related calls, to included power lines/wires and trees down, as well as motor vehicle accidents. All the calls for service were dealt with accordingly and in as a timely manner as possible. We want to thank everyone for being patient while the North Adams Police Department, North Adams Fire Department, North Adams Ambulance Service, North Adams Dispatch and the North Adams Department of Public Works, did their respective duties. We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. Spend some quality time with your friends and family...the ones who mean the most.
