On a day like today 25yrs ago my life was given meaning, I was blessed with the arrival of my first born Anne Marie DiBartolo.. It was Thursday October 26,1989 I was only 15yrs old my husband & I were expecting our babygirl we was so scare I remember looking at him n saying oh my god this is real, its really happening. Wether we r ready or not she is coming. What will happen if I mess up if I dont know what she wants when she cries, what about if ruin her life? Oh my god Joey Im not ready poor him he was trying to give me comfort reassuring me that Ill be a good mom even though he was scare as well of becoming a dad.. then before I knew it there was no more time to worry about it bc the time had arrived it was 12:12pm when I heard my babygirl take her first breath n cry n I must say that it was the most beautiful amazing thing I had ever heard. At that moment my fears became stronger oh lord im responsible for another life. Then when I held my babygirl all those fears vanished n the overwhelming filling of compassion, patience n love took over..As my babygirl held my finger in her tiny hand n looked at me I was asking myself how can someone so small make you feel so confused do much love? I remembered my mothers words when u become a mother u will understand what true, pure, unconditional love is? At that moment I knew I was in for the most beautiful journey of my life motherhood. I looked at my baby n vowed to not only protect, love n guide her but to always be her best friend. I would be the best mom I could be just as my mom was to me.. Today I look at my daughter n cant believe that 25yrs have passed so fast. Im so proud of the woman she has become n just as the first day of her life my heart is overwhelmed with pride n love.. Happy birthday babygirl, may the great lord continue blessing u as he blessed me that October afternoon in Poughkeepsie NY.. I love you!!!
