On a trip back from Canada, a Border Patrol agent told me to come with them. I sat for about 10 mins annoyed when an officer called me over. He asked if Id ever been a victim of credit card fraud. I said yes about 4 years ago. He asked what my 4 digit secret code was? I didnt remember having a secret code. 3 agents stood there acting like I would be detained further at Newark Airport unless I came up with that code. I racked my brain, gave them a likely 4 digits, and they let me go. But I first told them that this was absurd as I had plenty of photo ID. So first Im a victim of credit card fraud, the police do nothing about it, and then Im victimized again by US Border Guards.
