On behalf of my wife Adelina and myself I would like to thank everyone for their support and friendship with this new thing we are doing at Whiskey Run Golf Club and Lodge. Yes Divots Bar and Grill is now open, we have been extremely happy to have all of you come down and check us out. As the Mother Nature begins to relieve us of sub artic temps we will begin the process of the golf course renovation and makeover. As many of you know WR has not been properly managed or maintained for the last 15 years. The following process will start to take place. 1. cart path installation, we will be cutting several trees and brush to chip up and use as cart path material 2. Greens will be made larger, aerified, top dressed, seeded and fertilized bringing life back to them 3. clean up and golf course definition will be added to enhance the layout 4. proper golf course mowing equipment will be used to maintain 4 different heights of playing surface. Yes we will have grass that is very high and in play. we will have a fairway cut, rough cut and you dont want to hit it there cut. Again Thank You all for your support and interest in WR.
