On my essay the other day someone said they agreed with almost everything I said with the exception to the reference to Halloween and Harry Potter as part of the reason we have asked for the violence we see in society. Christopher one has to ask oneself if the celebration of any holiday by pretending to be the evil villains of horror movies and Literature had any effect on society. To dress up as something is to emulate it. Should we parents out by children emulate the evil of the world. As to Harry Potter Harry Potter is a warlock went to school for witches. For those of us to call ourselves Christian the Bible is very specific. Jesus himself once said rebellion is as witchcraft. So the Harry Potter portion is specifically two men and women of the Christian faith. To Christians celebrate Harry Potter by the books and take the children to see the movies or for that matter those who enjoyed the twilight series have turned their backs on the basic precepts of their faith. One of those precepts is that certain things are evil regardless of how innocently they portrayed. For example John Wayne Gacy was a clown.... Perhaps the most evil man that ever walked the earth and yet he was a clown who entertained children at parties And then one about raping and slaughtering them.
