On my way home from another year of a fantastic Danish Christmas party I saw a woman in the middle of the street with her arms in the air trying to flag down somebody as several cars passed by her. I stopped to see if she needed help and she just wanted a ride down the street but seemed a little out of it. Maybe a few drinks or something else. I gathered all the stuff in the front seat and put it in the back and started to drive her where she needed to go, but there was something a little odd now and she keeps changing her destination points. Then she goes into her purse to tell me what she had and pulls out mace attached to a clip that she said she found on the road and starts to play with it. At this point I ask her to put it away so we dont get hit with it since it looked like the top was moving. She put it away and I asked her again where she needs to go and her the streets have changed again. Now Im keeping the interior light on in my car and ask her not to smoke as she is has cigarettes in her hand. I knew she was on something and felt a little nervous not knowing what could happen next with her since her actions and words were very erratic. She tells me about the hair clippers she has and if I wanted them and then pulls out the mace again. I saw that were were at one of the streets she had mentioned at some point and pulled over and said I felt it better she doesnt ride in my car. I felt bad for asking her to leave my vehicle but I had felt a little threatened by her actions and there was a bus stop right there. I was just trying to help somebody and didnt want this to turn into something more. Not sure if there is a moral of this story, but make sure you tell the ones you love you love them not just in this holiday season but year round. ;-)
