On one hand we had a great man like Dr. Ambedekar who insisted upon getting Hindu society free from vestigial caste system (which, being birth based, was not a part of Vedic Dharma anyways). He fought for it and when his attempts were frustrated by the leaders of that time, he went in for the reservation clause. If his suggestions were taken, wed have seen a united Hindu society today without any caste-ism or reservation. Dr. Ambedekar had strong beliefs against radical Islamic forces in the nation about which he expressed many a times through his various writings and manuscripts. He was no appeaser. He was educated and wise - and could foresee what different sects and communities stood for. On the other hand, Nehru essentially was a Dhimmi, Leftist with airs of a world leader. He thought India was beneath him, he was meant to lead the world. A narcissist, he thought he was so charming that everybody in the world loves him and is desperate to follow him. Taking care of Indias interest would make him look like narrow-minded, parochial -something of a blasphemy to him. He thought himself to be too evolved, too sophisticated, too intellectually superior to identify himself with Hindus or to take care of their interests. We have paid a terrible price of him being our first PM. And it has not ended with him. His brood is bleeding India in thousand different ways. Irony we called his man a pandit! Jai Bhim
