On the 1st day of Christmas, I want to hear all about your favorite Christmas ornament! Sharing photos are great too!!! What makes this ornament your favorite? My favorite ornament is a gift from my mother. Every year Mom would make a Christmas ornament for the kids and grandkids, but the year I received this was different. Mom had begun preparing her ornaments while recovering from a lung transplant. Sadly, on October 21, 2002, my mother passed away. I found these while cleaning out her apartment. She never had the opportunity to paint them prior to her passing but she had already written her little note to us on the back of each. Over the years, of moving and crazy cats climbing in the tree, the ornament has been broken, glued back together and is even missing a piece but it will never lose how special it is to me. Todays prize....will be a $25 gift certificate which can be used towards your session fee, prints, and canvas orders on all new sessions. The prize is for locals only.
