On the 65th anniversary I was blessed with the ability to be in France for the reinactment and got to Jumpmaster a pass of jumpers over St. Mere Eglise. During this time we visited all the beaches. Pointe Du Hoch was one of the places that will be in my mind for ever. In my mind this was someplace that should not have been taken. It looked impossible. These brave men just saw it as an obstacle and attacked. The Greatest Generation, for sure!!!!!
