On the afternoon of Sunday August 10 2014, I received a Phone Call that No Wife wants to get, I knew right from the moment I answered that it was Bad, My Heart Sank to the very bottom of my stomach as I heard the Voice Cody say Ann theres been a horrible accident and they are Life Flighting Justin to Vanderbilt Trauma in Nashville, I remember only 1 moment after that it was arriving at the Hospital and them saying Maam we need you sign a release for Blood Transfusion, my heart is dragging behind me, All I could imagine was how awful this could be. 30 minutes later I was told Your Husband is Lucky to be Alive, I remember looking up n saying ALIVE , THANK YOU GOD! Nothing else mattered to me at that Point, Surgeon came out and said Initial findings are 2 Collapsed Lungs, 2 Chest Tubes, Broken Ribs, Possibly Shattered Wrist & Shoulder, Fractured Lumbars,Dislocated Shoulders, I kept trying to imagine the Site i was about to see, When i saw him it was so not what I expected, He looked up n smiled n said Im Sorry Babe, He has made such Great Progress over the past Few days with some ups n some Downs and I know we are still headed for a Long Recovery, But we Definitely could not have made it this Far without some very important things & People. God, Vanderbilt Trauma Team, Surgeons, Cody, Terry& Robert Cooper, (His Parents), CVMA (his motorcycle buddies), and the Hundreds of Family & Friends Who Started Prayer Chains on 3 different Continents. , This morning 3 days in he is Recovering nicely. Thank You Again to all of you for everything. Our Journey would have been much harder without all of you.
