On the day of the big Scottish vote, Ive been listening to one of my favourite singers of all time, Dick Gaughan. Theres no gods and theres precious few heroes. If they choose independence I hope Scotland avoid following the Tartan Messiahs.but instead they find some of those precious few heroes (Im not sure the one in the limelight is a hero). Yes, you feel disenfranchised from Westminster, and yes you feel those in power do not represent your needs. But much of the UK feel the same. I genuinely feel Scottish interests and the rest of the uk are mutually better off together. What I would like to see is some of that fire and passion for change sent to this side of the border. Stick with us, and inspire us. Dont cut and run (which will harm us both in the long run). Make positive changes to Scotland that inspire change down here too but from within the government. We are facing similar issues to you in terms of control and power, and I cant help feeling we are better fighting them together. youtu.be/pB9fb3lIXko
