On the way back from Champaign, IL to Macomb today, I stopped for gas at a small town called Havana. As I filled up, a man dressed in farmer gear said, "Whoo Eee, you sure are dressed tonight." After assessing he was not mocking me, I replied. "Yes, I am coming back from a meeting of librarians relating to issues that have an impact on all the libraries in the state." He looked thoughtfully for a few seconds and replied, "Librarians having to travel to talk about issues? You must have talked about books." I just said, "Yes." He has no idea but I liked this guy. He was just being friendly.
