On the weekend i gained my greatest derby achievement to date; i was awarded MVP for our bout against OCD in the 3rd round of the 5x5. This is a pretty big deal to me. I suffered quite a lot last year and missed most of the 5x5. I sat on the sidelines hating the fact that i couldnt be up there with my team mates. But i got better, and i returned to training and then contact and then finally bouting. My team mates really helped me through a tough time, and i couldnt have pushed myself as hard as i did without them. My 1st bout back, i felt pretty sloppy, but i still felt i was effective somewhat. So for myself and the Kazis to play as well as we did on saturday arvo is a HUGE deal. Winning was surreal. And to be given MVP in my 2nd bout back was just icing on the cake. I love you all my Kazis
