On this 25th day of Thanksgiving, I am so thankful for the sweet memories God lets us hold for those we love, but are no longer with us. Today would have been my cousins (Kenny Haymore, Jr.) birthday. God took him home close to 3-1/2 years ago, and I miss him dearly. We grew up together and were only a year apart in age -- so there was lots of fun and many memories. Also, this is our first Thanksgiving without my mom-in-law (Ann Dooley), and I am missing her sooooooo very much. She was all about the holidays, and I have tons of sweet memories of years gone by. I know there is going to be a huge void in our family this entire holiday season; however, we will all take the time to remember those years gone by and those that we love who will not be among our earthly celebration. And there is the promise of God that we will be reunited with all of them one day! Until then, we will cherish those memories and look forward to that GREAT reunion :)
