On this 700th anniversary of the death of Knight Templar - TopicsExpress

On this 700th anniversary of the death of Knight Templar Grandmaster Jacques de Molay we Templars give thanks that our order was once blessed with the leadership and dedication of such an indomitable warrior spirit. It was the destiny of the Templars to encounter adversity and receive persecution from a ruling elite that did not understand them. But the way it was handled by Grandmaster de Molay ensured that there would be Templars in the 21st century wearing the same red and white mantle as he did. Both before and after the mass arrest of the Templars in 1307, Sir Jacques set down the ancient Templar rites in such as way that enabled them to live on in fledgling Freemasonry and then dispatched a delegation of Templars to Scotland to oversee the transference. He also sent his knights to Portugal, where as the Knights of Christ they ensured that the Templar wisdom would be taken across the vast Atlantic Ocean and help lay the groundwork for new democratic governments. And he made sure to indoctrinate his successor, John Mark Larmenius, in all the minute details of the Templar secrets, including the precious Gnostic Johannite Mysteries. Thus, today, those of us who wear the white and red should meditate on the life of a martyred grandmaster whose service to the order should be an an example to us all. And while reflecting upon such a life, each of us should sincerely ask How can I better serve the Ancient and Noble Order of the Knights Templar?
