On this day (Nov. 18) in 1977: UK punk rock band The Damned - TopicsExpress

On this day (Nov. 18) in 1977: UK punk rock band The Damned released their second studio album, Music for Pleasure, on Stiff Records (SEEZ 5); somehow, it was produced by Nick Mason of Pink Floyd (who must have been shocked at the concept of having to work within such a limited budget) & featured new member Lu Edmunds on second guitar, as well as guest saxophonist Lol Coxhill; it was the last studio release to feature original guitarist Brian James & the groups final album release on Stiff; although more kindly regarded in retrospect, it was a critical & commercial flop at the time, failing to make the UK Top 100 album chart…(this & more featured today at Roch Parisiens Rocon Communications music chat page...)
