On this day, one year ago, armed with 1 therapist, I ventured into the unknown territory of The Home Salon. We serviced our 1st client and I was bright-eyed and excited about what was in store. Excited enough to leave behind a great job and colleagues! A year later - weathered, tired, sleepless and tensed, I am still as excited about what we have accomplished. 500+ clients, a revenue model thats working, 2 offices, 10 therapists and a round of funding closing in on us, we have moved forward and still have a long way to go and several milestones to achieve. I truly hope the journey doesnt settle and we keep having moments of fun and anxiety. Because at the end of it, thats all that matters. I truly thank my staff who have believed in me and this model through all times and my family who has supported me unconditionally - monetarily and otherwise. And Ofcourse my pillar of strength Nihar: without you around this venture wouldnt have come Alive or survived!
