On this day we said so long to Charlene...only till we meet again. We will miss you till we see each other again...but we have learned how to be better people from you, should we allow ourselves to follow and I will. That is the part of our ego at times we need to set aside, to put others ahead of ourselves as Charlene did without pause. You loved your part in your life, and held strong to it. You enjoyed great music that told of your strengths even more than words, and we were privileged to hear that today. Your smiling and thoughtful expressions of love, displayed to us with your music was a great ensemble of the love of your family, put together by Vanessa, your granddaughter....in honor of you, in your name, and with great pride. The reminiscing that came from it, is yet another thing you loved, family and friends together talking about good times, fun times...and all of them with you right there with us. You left us too soon, no doubt, way too soon...but your pain is no longer....and wed have it no other way than that, for you to be painfree. We will carry your sword, and continue to fight the good fight of togetherness, understanding, acceptance and love. You gave of yourself selflessly which is an art in itself, beyond compare where you loved your family in balance. Phenomenal, that was said of you today....and without doubt, you are...phenomenal
