Once Ma and a group of Her devotees were going to some destination by bullock carts and passed an ashram of a saint who had achieved great powers and become proud about it. It was decided to visit him. Ma remained right at the back of the party going up the path to the ashram. She told the person who was carrying the umbrella to position it over Didis head stating Didi had not been well. When they entered the ashram Ma kept all the ladies in white in front and stood behind. The saint after finishing his prayers came out and greeted all, seeing Didi in the front. Then with eyes opened wide he enquired Aap me se kaun hai Anandamayee Ma?! (Who is Anandamayee Ma amongst you?!) Ma got up laughing and said Baba, poochnaa bhi padega?!( Baba, do you need to ask?!) After doing some satsang they left. Suddenly on the way a big black snake was seen between the wheels of Mas cart. The devotees tried to get a stick to beat the snake away, when Ma stopped them. After a while it left on its own! Ma said Baba ne apna chamatkar dikhaya. (Baba showed his powers and magic.) Soporybhai was present at this event and he asked Ma whether it was the same saint who took this form to come and bow down to Her and ask for forgiveness for his pride. Ma said Ho Sakta Hai. (It is possible) Jai Ma.
