Once again I am left with fear and anxiousness over a dog. We were just asked to help this poor black dog that supposedly was losing her home because of changes in the landlords rules. Now in less than two hours this dog has mysteriously been rehomed! The fear I feel for this dog and the aggravation I have with her owner is beyond belief ! I cannot even begin to describe the anxious feeling I have that this dog is not placed somewhere properly. To have someone contact me, tell me they have nowhere to turn and then tell me that the dog has suddenly been rehomed leaves me nothing with fear that this dog is now in the hands of someone that will mean it harm. This owner has placed this dog with a complete stranger. She hasnt asked for a home check, she hasnt done a background check, and she hasnt even verified that this person take animals to a vet! Time and time again I am running into people here that think that placing a dog is a simple matter and that everybody out there is good and kind and can be trusted If only they knew the truth!
