Once again the TN Cancer Coalition (TC2) Childhood Committee is compiling a statewide calendar of events for: Fall/September - Childhood Cancer Awareness Month PLEASE UPDATE YOUR EVENTS FOR 2013 USING THE SAME FORMAT as the 2012 calendar: Date Time Event Name Brief Description Event Web Site Deadline: Email your changes/additions to Jennifer Louis at jlouis5678@aol by Thursday, August 1. (You will receive an auto email indicating Jennifer is away until 8/1) Everyone is welcome to participate. Please share with others who may be interested. This calendar serves three important purposes. First, it will be posted in August on national/state/local web sites, including tncancercoalition.org/childhood and other media in order to publicize your events. Second, it will be shared throughout the year with legislators/government organizations, healthcare providers, community organizations, etc. as an example of robust, grassroots advocacy across our state. Third, it serves as a prototype for other states to replicate, as the TC2 Childhood Committee is being used as a model to develop other state coalitions. After you submit changes/additions, we will email you a draft of the 2013 calendar to review, prior to distributing the final version.
