Once, i asked her, why life is so uneasy to work with? A i was surprised when she told me that life is just a game that you need to play with so much care and just be humble to everybody, pagpaubos ra pao sa tanan ug ampo pirmi sa ginoo ! Well, nice one mom! Each life is a journey that takes us to places we either love, hate, or wish for something totally different. Too many people spend most of their lives comparing themselves to others and it is this comparison that can only serve to erode your own unique qualities and your inner fabric. Every person is special in this world and it is not a welcome attitude to ever suggest that you should not change yourself to become an exact copy of another person, nor should one attempt to believe or behave, or to own, or to acquire what everyone else has or appears to have. Each day you live is not simply a matter of putting in time but it is, instead putting time towards making life better whether that be to learn more, to contribute to the happiness of others, or to ensure that everyone you come in contact with leaves with feeling a little more positive. Every one of us also has the good fortune to dream where the dream is one of living better, or more wholesome, or making our adventure down the path of life much more tolerable and pleasant. It is these dreams that can shape a neighborhood, a country or even the world if you allow yourself a big enough dream. Many thousands of people have had big dreams, but it is only a few that capture their dream, embrace it, and direct all of their energy towards its realization. Your goals must be your own; you cannot live anyone elses goals with the same passion, perseverance or the dedication and sacrifice necessary to make it a reality unless these goals are yours and yours alone. To give up is to die. So few people understand that they have so much to give or contribute to the betterment of all those around them thinking that they have no more to give. It is not that you do not have more to give; it is more that you refuse to give. To be selfish is to cast yourself adrift from all that is good for it is not a sin to be tired but more a sin to deem you are tired. This thing we call life is not a destination with an end but a path down which we continue to journey as long as we can breath. Life is to be lived not squandered or to give away waiting for the end to close upon us. Good night and have a sweet dream yall! dpap!
