Once upon a time there was only one Electric Company in Pakistan named (WAPDA) and there was no symbol of load shedding. As of today we have almost 14 Electric Supply Companies and there is no sufficient electric power. This mean that there is something wrong, somewhere. Quetta Electric Supply Company 5. Peshawar Electric Power Company 6. Multan Electric Power Company 7. Lahore Electric Supply Company 8. Kot Addu Power Company 9. Karachi Electric Supply Company 10. Islamabad Electric Supply Company 11. Hyderabad Electric Supply Company 12. Hub Power Company 13. Gujranwala Electric Power Company 14. Faisalabad Electric Supply Company If you check the major defaulters are Ministries offices, Ministers and parliamentarians, police stations, federal government offices, provincial government offices. The recovery of default amount is recovered from Public Bills. The Anti Corruption Organization in Pakistan FIA/NAB have adopted the policy of silence because they do not want to lose their jobs. There are sufficient number of Mosques, Shrine, Tombs, Churches and other worship place who are subscribers of the Electricity Companies listed above. An amount of Rs. 35 is being charged in each electricity bill in the form of PTV Tax. Is PTV a Charity organization? Find out the number of electricity subscribers of each company and multiply by Rs. 35 to calculate the money taken illegally every month and tell the public the utilization of such collection. Moreover, there are other taxes like Neelam / Jehlum Surcharge, duty on electricity, fuel adjustment and so on......
