One Door Leads to Many Hearts 13th January, 2015 - Hilton Malta in collaboration with RA1SE and the generosity of the Hilton Malta patrons, organized a shopping spree and dinner for children residing at various institutions in Malta. Over 80 children of all ages currently housed at: Angela House, Gwardamangia; St. Rita Home, Tarxien; Piccola Casa San Guzepp, Valletta; Fatima House and the Ursuline Creche, Sliema, were treated to an afternoon of shopping at George clothing store in Hamrun, who offered a generous discount. The clothing was purchased with funds donated by the Hotel Management as well as money collected from the “One Door Leads to Many Hearts” Campaign. The campaign, headed by Creative Director, Kevin Naudi, involved the setting up of a live sized Santa House in the Hilton lobby. Over the Christmas period, anyone visiting the hotel could drop by Santa’s impressive house, have their photo taken with Mr. Claus and post a small donation through his shiny green door. After shopping to their hearts’ content, the children and their Carers, together with RA1SE volunteers were treated to a scrumptious dinner at Oceana Restaurant.
