One Eshun who happens to be a NADMO Coordinator of the Suaman District Assembly has been heard on a local radio station in Akontombra misleading listeners that construction of Suaman town roads is still ongoing and almost near completion. Again the DCE and his subordinates made a requisition for the MMT bus which is now operating in Suaman, moreover the deplorable nature of blackman bridge has not been given attention by the assembly because the said road is an abandoned road and has not been used by motors over the years. I want to state on authority that (1) construction of Dadieso town roads has been abandoned for the past two years after construction of the drainage system and the assembly has never communicated to the community why the roads have been abandoned. (2) It is on record that myself and my PRO Adu Boahen went to the regional manager of MMT-Kumasi on the 12th Nov, 2012 and queried him why their buses are operating in Enchi, Juaboso, Akontombra, Bodi and other districts where they equally have deplorable road network like Dadieso, and in his response he said they have done their investigations and from their findings some persons in Dadieso said commuters of Dadieso dont travel on regular bases except school have been re-open where students will travel to kumasi. We denied the false misrepresentation and urged them to operate in our zone because is a commercial town and would not regret of such decision. We were then asked to submit official request demanding their service of which we did, after which they will assess where they will park in town and other relevant information they will need. The blackman bridge is found on a busy road, where both motorists and pedestrians assess it on regular bases contrary to what Eshun said on the radio station. It is disgusting and evil for the Nadmo Coordinator to deceive the general public and the good people of Suaman with this unnecessary lies. Am urging the general public to treat his information as false and it is high time the District assembly take the people of Suaman serious before we show them how relevant we can display our youthful exuberance in ensuring they become proactive.
