One Year ago today my Son George and I were in our Home Ward in Ammon, Idaho. On that day we were being baptized and welcome into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The last year has been quite the journey for George and I as we expand our understanding and gain additional knowledge and wisdom through the Book of Mormon. Today, in our new ward-Home in Santa Clara, California we are grateful to partake of the Sacrament and on fasting Sunday listen to and/or share our Testimonies. We know the Church is true. We are grateful for the restoration of the Gospel and the Atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross. We know Jesus lives and we know our living Prophet Thomas S. Monson continues to receive revelation. The first year went by so quickly! Im looking forward to visiting the Oakland Temple soon. Its always a peaceful and productive time. Thank you to the Bro. Gardner and his wife for taking the time to bake George a birthday cake! Tomorrow will be my Son Georges fifteenth birthday! One year exactly since we were confirmed as members. We are Grateful. Thank you to our first ward Family in Ammon for your continued Love & Support. Thank you to our new ward Family for your warm welcome and support. LOVE
