One breath at a time. That is all I get. It seems trite and unimportant until I run short. Then, the whole world revolves around filling my lungs with air. One breath. I can’t take two breaths at a time. I have to take them as they are needed. I can’t save a breath for the future. I have to trust that air will be there for my use. The most important breath is always the next one. I am not ashamed or embarrassed to take it. How should I use my next breath--my most important one? "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10 NIV)
