One can hate the darkness. But you follow it to closely, you too, will fail to see the light. -me I say that, because day after day, I watch the attention of good people drawn into, what is seemingly, an endless void of confrontation and anger over the problems and diversities of this world, which seems to serve no better purpose than to divert them from their own growth, their own lives and their own spiritual travels, in turn, only robbing them of the view from the journey on their own path. Yes, there is evil in this universe. Yes, there is good in the universe. As of yet, this remains unchanged. A farmer tending a crop of tomatos, will most certainly come across rotten fruit. If he is wise, does he collect the rotten fruit and wait for the rest to rot? If we already know the answer, then why is our own crops still being neglected? When I go to bed tonight, I will not loose sleep over the events of today and when I wake up, I will not lock myself away, fearing the events of tomorrow. In fact, I will not panic because others can not see through my eyes and hear through my ears. If there is a flood tommorow, lets hope I know how to swim. If disease spreads through the land, lets hope I have grown a cure. If my home burns to the ground, lets hope Im good with a hammer. If the world as I know it is turned upside down, lets hope that Im strong enough to hold on tight. But if the world ends tomorrow, lets hope I didnt forget to live while I had the chance. We all have a separate journey. And the primary objective of that journey is to cherish the experience and find the answers. With answers, comes knowledge and with experience comes wisdom. But we must first have questions. If we have no questions, we are spending way to much time grading other peoples answers and experience only what it feels like to be trampled under the feet of someone elses journey. The current event headlines in my news, should always tell of the adventures I have shared with the ones I love and the strangers that I have friended along the way. So if you must lead, lead by example. If you must speak, speak of experience. And if you must live, love. Okay, Im done. I must now get back to not taking life so seriously now. Next weeks serious moment will be solving world peace by eliminating the control instinct from the human dna. From all of us here inside my head, we bid you goodnight.
