One day my dad had to stay late for school (he was probably in middle school at this point), so my uncles had to wait for him to get out so they could go home together. (My grandma was always insistent that they go home together) So had to run back home because they had work to do; if they didnt then theyd feel my grandpas wrath. The eldest brother decided to take a shortcut home. But my dad and his other brothers didnt like thst idea because my grandma always said to take the same path home. Eventually they all agreed so as. to not get in trouble. As they were walking home the sun started to go down. They made their way to this neighborhood amd started to walk in front an empty lot. Until they saw something that stoppes them dead in their tracks. It was a woman, in all black. Black dress, black shoes, Black hair, black lipstick, a black hat of son kind, and a black veil covering her eyes. Her skin was white as sheets, but the most unnerving part was that she was swinging back amd forth without a swing. In mid air. Thenshe turns and looks at them amd smiles. My dad and my uncles ran all the way back and went the normal route home. They never saw thay woman or went back again.My dad always speculated that it was the Grim Reaper. Something just gave him a gut feeling.
