One fine culinary giornata - anchovies (so fresh!) - orange zest & lemon - tagliata (sliced beef) under rucola & shaved parmesan for lunch (shared with Reed at a ristorante near the conservatory - hes a great favorite there; they always knock 5 euros off the tab); & tonight dinner at ristorante giglio, right next to my hotel, & allegedly the best in Lucca - this last a birthday gift to me from Richard who arranged it all months ago through Reed - there, Ive identified two Rs in my life. If I aint a lucky dawg I dont know who is.
