One might ask several questions about Chief Jacksons intent in issuing the video tape concerning the theft of cigarillos when the shooting officer knew nothing of the crime and it was therefore no consideration in the shooting. He seemed somewhat foggy on why he would have to produce the video tape of the cigarillo theft under the freedom of information act but was uncertain if the freedom of information act would require the production of a picture of the shooting officer. I would suggest that the lack of knowledge of the crime of the cigarillo robbery therefore having that knowledge play no part in the issue of the shooting, with the victim already having been murdered by being repeatedly shot the cigarillo case was over. The release of the tape was done for some reason other than that stated. One might consider it as a lame attempt to get the idea across to the public that the murder victim deserved to be shot to death.
