One more inspiration for us. One less excuse for us. Message: You Too Can Do It. Introducing Ms. Donna Cuthbert of Simeon Road. Humble citizen, single mother, and owner of a small business that she herself established. Donna was never satisfied with her job as a clerk in the government service, and started doing courses on evenings and weekends at venues such as community centres. She particularly focused on sewing and upholstery. She discovered an enormous resource of creativity within her, and began designing the best coverings for appliances such as washing mashing and dryers. Ms. Cuthbert eventually approached Standards, Courts, Peakes and a range of similar stores with her offerings, and today such stores offer her coverings as a popular option with many of their products. She has also plunged into unique furniture design and manufacture...all with her own hands and the assistance of her hard working daughter. She also does drapery arrangements and now works at it full-time right there in her humble home. She produces covers for anything from chairs to washing machines to even toasters, in any color and pattern under the sun and she even does weather proof covers for outdoor appliances and equipment.
