One night while my dad was in hospice, I shared with him a memory - TopicsExpress

One night while my dad was in hospice, I shared with him a memory of my childhood. I told him about how when I was young, I would often look up at the stars and I would wonder if somewhere in the world, he was looking up at the stars at that exact same time. That even though he wasnt there with me, it always helped me feel connected to him. Now I no longer have to wonder if he looks upon the stars. For he is among them. My last surviving parent passed away last night... In this life, my dad had a restless spirit and a gypsy soul. Although that meant he was not around for much of my life, it took him to many great places. A fact that I now take comfort in. Until we meet again... Enjoy the fishing daddy!
