One of my clients, Danielle Severson, will be celebrating her fifth wedding anniversary in June, and in honor of that, she is graciously donating her wedding dress to a group who will make it into gowns for families who had an infant loss. As most of you know, I am a photographer for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, and I can tell you that these families appreciate these gifted burial gowns so much. It helps not having to go to a store days after a loss and explain how this is not a joyous purchase. It helps them to know this dress was worn in love and now that love will be wrapped around their child as he/she is laid to rest. This was a huge decision, made in love, by such a caring family and I just wanted to share and say thank you..... This dress is so beautiful and will make some families feel so loved in their time of need.
