One of my fondest memories is of living on Sampson Lane as a 7 year old. I may have had my bike stolen twice (once while I was on it), but it never really mattered at the end of the day because if I ever had trouble sleeping, I knew I could count on my mom to play the piano on the other side of my bedroom wall and lull me to sleep as her fingers danced along the ivory. It provided comfort and security, no matter what kind of day I had. Happy Birthday, Mom. I love you!
