One of our Science review Board members, Dr Paolo Zamboni, had the scientific equipment for his his Drain Brain experiment blow up last week in the rocket launch explosion in Virginia! We thought all was lost but evidently, NASA considers this work so important, they have asked him to scramble together another set of instruments in just a few days, to make the next launch later this month. The instruments are now scheduled to go with Italys first woman astronaut who is trained to conduct the experiments! Bravo Dr Zamboni, we are proud to have contributed with a small seed grant to this ground breaking research. It will help millions worldwide when it is established that a simple tool can reliably measure obstacles inside the veins effecting blood flowing back to the heart from the brain and contributing to many degenerative conditions like MS, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, ALS and others. NASA needs to solve this problem for healthy people in prolonged space travel, and their interest may just be what carries us across the finish line back on earth. Heres hoping that Dr Zamboni can make the flight schedule!!
