One of our dedicated volunteer/fosters responded to a pup in need tonight. She is a very young, extremely emaciated sweet heart that Lorrie brought to BVH for care at 5:30 this evening. In honor of the young lady who has tried to care and find help for our new HALT addition- this pup will be called Julianne.She will be staying at BVH tonight and administered IV fluids for dehydration. Once she is cleared by the veterinarian, Lorrie will foster her until she is healthy enough to find a permanent home. At this point, HALT is extremely low on funds due to a large influx of dogs requiring special veterinarian care beyond basic shots and spay/neuter. We are in need of donations to bring our fund base back up as we have had to refer animals in need to other organizations. We need your help. ANY amount will make a difference!!
