One of our moms has a question about taking sick leave or unpaid leave for Post Natal Depression, can you help? “I was diagnosed with PND last month. My maternity leave ends next month. I was going to take additional unpaid leave but my GP has recommended I go on sick leave. I’m just wondering how long others in similar situations have been off sick. I dont like not being able to plan ahead. I have made my employer aware of my circumstances. I had hoped when my sick leave ends to take my bank holidays which fell while I was on maternity and annual leave from last year but my manager had said I must come back to work and take at a later time when work can accommodate. What have others done in similar circumstances? Should I just take additional unpaid leave? Did the return to work help with your PN
