One of our recent local Lisburn Solar PV System clocks up over 1.24MWhs (1,240 kWh) of energy in 67 Days, which is worth around £350, see summary below. Thats the same energy as; charging a phone for 38.5 years, or, off setting the same amount of carbon as 22 trees, or, powering a light bulb for 10.9 years, or, driving 55 laps of the Monaco Grand Prix! What could you do with this power? In 67 days the customer has made £210 in NIROCs payments, (ROC at 16.9p paid annually), saved buying £108 worth of electricity (50% of electricity generated [email protected]), and sold the other 50% back to the grid worth £31 (50% of electricity generated [email protected])
