One of the best burgers in Korea is found at a Mexican restaurant: The Sid Burger at Vatos. Its 15,500 KRW, comes with fries, and has pulled pork bbq on top of the patty. Vatos has always done a good job but something irked me tonight. I asked for a side a mayo. The waiter came back and said, It will cost 500 KRW. Is that alright? No, I said, and ate it without the desired mayo. Now I had fat wallet of money to spend tonight and I can afford 500 KRW, but if I order a burger and fries, mayo should be complementary. These small things matter more than 500 KRW when everything is said and done.
