One of the best jobs I ever had was being the Ad Man for Giant Robot Magazine magazine for 6 years (issues 25 - 50). The initial learning curve was difficult (I had zero experience but I had a mean inside leg sweep combo to takedown) but with the instruction and guidance of co-editors Eric Nakamura and Martin Wong I became an integral part of something I had only previously admired from afar. Giant Robot is celebrating its 20 year anniversary and we should all raise a glass of Boba Tea or Red Bull and recognize an important part of print history.
