One of the challenges in photographing George the Alligator is that over the last 7 years Ive photographed him from just about every possible angle. Straight on, from the back, from the side, eye level, 20 feet away to less than a foot, you name it. What else is there? Well, I decided to try a long exposure this morning and am really surprised at how well this came out (at least I think so). This isnt photoshop magic this is actually the result of a 3 second exposure. I did brighten up the eye using a curves layer, and darken him a tad with another, but other than that, very minimal editing. The result is rather unique and a different artistic take on George.
