One of the fiercest predators that ever roamed on Earth...velociraptor. Yet why? Its not the largest or even the scariest therapod during the late Cretaceous period. Certainly the tyrannosaurs should take the victory. Except for fossil remains of packs of these prehistoric butchers who dash in at unfathomable speeds and mutilate their prey with a five inch killing claw. This claw plunges into the tough flesh of Mongolian prey items such as protoceratops or oviraptors and induces blood loss. The prey would weaken and collapse, falling lifeless and helpless. The efficient team work and capable killing tools made this predator one of the fiercest predators around. (Except for the cute baby velociraptor down below)
