One of the great things I have really enjoyed doing is making my own stuff. I make my own deodorant, hair gel, and toothpaste. It is cheaper, but more importantly, safer and better quality than what I use to buy. Plus, I am not throwing away a lot of plastic into the enviornment when I am finished with the product. I also make my own soymilk which is a night and day difference in taste from store bought and better for you without all the additives. Plus it is so cheap, I cant bear to look at the ripoff prices they charge for it in the stores for a poorer quality product. I also make my own laundry detergent which is better than the Tide I use to buy, and for the price of one large box of Tide, I basically made a 3 year supply of homemade laundry detergent.
