One of the latest right wing lies going around is that President Clinton ordered the disarming of military personnel on military facilities. Well, it is just another right wing lie. Now, the people who claim that as truth expose themselves to at-least two realities; they have never served in our armed forces or they are just ignorant to the facts. In the US and on other non-combat military insulations, only authorized personnel are allowed to be armed. President Clinton signed no such order, the Army made certain changes in who would should be armed on certain bases under President G.H Bush. It always amazes me that notorious draft dodgers and those with no military service as; Wayne LaPierre, Ted Nugent and Dick Cheney are constantly decrying any form of gun control.
