One of the most creative and spiritual of djs I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing live and the first experience was magically manifested at the Sunnyside Pavilion, where during the day it rained and I did not care, had no worries and was planning from the moment I woke and thanked the universe for its strength and made sure as I stood upright I bowed as I want to always be in his presence and went to work. After work and a long ass subway ride, I was not phased, and was focused on enjoying MysElf at the jam as it was my hood and wanted not just myself but everyone to also have a good time and this venue was perfect, and so historic, where souls gathered from a time exactly from all realms and then passed on, where there was a hunger for more, his set was incredible, the amazing people I met from all over the world and walking out towards the end and hearing the crowd buzzing begging for more and he felt it and dropped something fierce drawing me closer and that moment was amazing, as it began to drizzle with such precision on everything and everyone and the crowd cheered with such passion, stimulated by the effects of sound and who he has attracted along his journey that are so enamored with his style of music. I can see the Sunnyside Pavilion as the premier outdoors vibe for events and parties of this size and the best part parking (plenty), and within moments at the bottom of Lakeshore and Roncesvalles just across the bridge is another beautiful and classical spot for all the old skool house jams, and the deepest of house, where its jackets and hats, and of course fresh whites, valet parking and no DRESS SHOES and that would see Joaquin Joe Claussell, Ron Trent and Osunlade, and percussion from Idrum (Jason Barham and Vinny on the patio) on a warm summer night with moon full, big and bright! If this event on Monday goes well the Junction could handle this every Monday, noting our restaurants, bars and microbeweries could use the business to improving its beautification and that must include culture and arts of which sound will apply.
