One of the most difficult aspects of my service as a Trustee is receiving heartbreaking news of a tragedy. Of a life shorten due to an accident or a poor choice made. My heart just sinks as I feel that I am in some way a part of their family. A life ended without explanation unfortunately, affects so many. As a parent, we must prepare and help our children to understand how to avoid situations that could cause them harm. The most difficult aspect of parenting is to understand that we are to be guardians and mentors. Being a friend, Being Liked or not involved in our childrens life is contrary to our responsibility granted when we were gifted the awesome opportunity of parenthood.
