One of the most ridiculous arguments that Ive heard against Cena is that the only reason why John Cena keeps winning matches is because he kisses Vince Mcmahons ass. To those who believe this, heres my question to you, do you honestly think an extremely successful business man like Vince Mcmahon will put his entire franchise on the shoulders of a man like John Cena just because Cena keeps buttering him up? The reason why Cena is the number one guy in the company and has been so for the past decade is because he is the most marketable asset in the WWE. When it comes to merchandise sales, sponsorship deals, live event deals and building a brand image, no one can outdo Cena in numbers. Cena winning all the time doesnt necessarily enhance the entertainment value of the show for us, the internet fans, but it certainly brings in a lot of crowds to the shows whose money is keeping the WWE afloat.
