One of the projects of Pokhara Jaycees is to explore the inner talent of female titled ‘Miss Pokhara’, a beauty pageant. It was first started in 1995. Now it has been revived in the year 2013 AD with positive thoughts and new creation of the pageant. The project Miss Pokhara would be a milestone in recognition of the female and helping them undertake a significant role in society and develop their self-esteem in the present world scenario. The aim of this project is to explore and expose female personality with the characteristic of intelligence, confidence and dynamism. It is more over a combination of beauty and brain upon which much of the creation rests. Miss Pokhara beauty pageant would thus add the beauty and grandeur of Pokhara. Miss Pokhara would be eligible to participate in Miss Nepal and further in International Beauty Pageant ‘Miss World’.
